Oasis have officially announced their return to the road in 2027 with a huge 38-date world tour, including 11 nights at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium and four landmark shows at Knebworth.
The newly announced Oasis Live ’27 tour will take Liam and Noel Gallagher across the UK, Europe, the United States and Ireland, beginning with five nights at Celtic Park in Glasgow in May 2027.
For fans across Halton and the wider North West, the biggest news is the scale of the band’s Manchester homecoming, with Oasis set to play 11 shows at the Etihad Stadium throughout June.
Richard Ashcroft will appear as special guest at every date on the tour.
Oasis are heading back to Knebworth
Among the most significant shows on the new tour are four nights at Knebworth in September 2027.
The concerts will take place more than 30 years after Oasis’ legendary performances at Knebworth in August 1996, when the band played to around 250,000 people across two nights.
Those concerts have since become one of the defining moments of Oasis’ career and of British music during the 1990s.
The band will return to Knebworth on 11, 12, 18 and 19 September 2027, bringing the new tour to a dramatic conclusion.
Another chapter in the Oasis reunion
The announcement follows the extraordinary success of the Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour, which brought Liam and Noel Gallagher back on stage together after 16 years apart.
The 2025 tour ran for 41 shows across five continents and attracted more than two million fans.
For many supporters, the reunion had initially felt like a once-in-a-generation opportunity to see Oasis together again. The announcement of Live ’27 now confirms that the comeback is continuing into another major year.
Reaction among fans since the announcement has ranged from excitement at having another opportunity to see the band, to nerves about facing another huge rush for tickets.
Some fans who attended the 2025 tour have said they are happy to sit this one out after experiencing the first reunion shows, while others have already made it clear that they are ready to try for tickets again.
There is also strong interest from fans who missed out completely during the previous tour and now have another chance to see Oasis live.
